Ace Saatchi & Saatchi was tasked to craft a campaign for the Carrier Smart+Cool system, which redefines the cooling experience for the consumer by integrating the company’s newly developed IoT (Internet of Things) smart plug with select air conditioners and an exclusive app.
To achieve this, we started by designing the packaging for the smart plug, as well as creating different promotional materials. We also conceptualized and held the AC/XP (Air Conditioner Experience) launch event for media friends and retail partners, who got to experience a live demo of the smart plug alongside a reveal of the company’s future direction, and good food and entertainment.
Make, a subsidiary of Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, was tasked to design the app's User Experience, that enables the seamless integration of the entire system from anywhere. The Smart+Cool app allows users to take granular control over their Carrier air conditioners, with remote settings for time, date and duration of operation.
The app also handles real-time monitoring of power consumption, maintenance reminders and provides a chat feature that facilitates service for cleaning and repair.
To maximize usage, we created a CRM campaign targeting users of the app, and deployed a fully customized Marketing Automation platform. Through informative EDMs, people were able to get usage tips for better air conditioner operation, as well as ways to make their experience better with the Smart+Cool app.
In the Philippines, Carrier is an established brand from the Concepcion-Carrier Air Conditioning Company, a joint-venture between two giants in the air conditioning industry.
